Picture postcards can tell many stories - even if they are unmarked and have not been sent. The Klagenfurt University library owns a collection of 501 unused picture postcards from the first half of the 20th century with pictures from the Alpen-Adria-Region. For two semesters, students of the Applied Cultural Studies programme at the Alpen-Adria-University studied the collection and the history of the postcards.
The book #UNGELAUFEN contains around 70 of these picture postcards from this collection.

This Gmünd book is a family chronicle of the Kohlmayr family. It is an adventure story through mountains and valleys, which finds its origin in Gmünd. The KohlmayrHaus art storybook is about some artistically talented and adventurous men as well as strong and witty women, to whom this book is dedicated - a tribute to their achievements and their humanity. Not everyone who gets their hands on this book is likely to be familiar with the Kohlmayr family, but the colorful stories and works of different personalities makes it approachable even to the uninformed reader.
